Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Lyrics & Subtitle Viewer (the "App"), provided by [Generated] ("we", "us"), handles information. In short: the App does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. The App does not request internet access, and everything it stores stays on your device.
1. Information we collect
We do not collect any personal information. The App has no user accounts, no backend servers, and no advertising, analytics, tracking, or crash-reporting SDKs.
2. Information stored only on your device
To provide its features, the App stores the following in its private storage on your device. This information is never sent to us.

The App does not copy your subtitle or lyrics files into its storage. It reads a file only when you open it, and only with the access you grant through the Android file picker or by opening the file from another app.
You can delete this information at any time with Clear history in the App, by clearing the App's storage in Android Settings, or by uninstalling the App.
Android backup: if you have enabled Android device backup, Android may include the App's settings and recent files list in your device backup (for example, to your Google account). This is handled by Android and your backup provider under your own settings, not by us.
3. Permissions
The App does not request any runtime permissions and does not request broad storage, location, camera, microphone, contacts, or internet permissions. Files are accessed only through the Android Storage Access Framework for files you choose.
4. Features that involve other apps or services
- Copy: text you copy is placed on the Android clipboard on your device.
- Save as LRC / SRT / VTT / TXT: files are written only to the location you choose.
- Share: when you choose Share, the App creates a temporary copy of the file in its cache and hands it to the app you select. What that app does with the file is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Lyricsync.ai link: opens https://lyricsync.ai in your web browser. No files or data from the App are sent.
- Donation (Buy Me a Coffee): opens a Stripe-hosted donation page in your web browser. Any payment information you enter is collected and processed by Stripe, Inc. under the Stripe Privacy Policy. The App does not receive your payment details.
- However, if you leave a message when donating through Buy Me a Coffee, that message is temporarily stored by Stripe. If you leave a nickname or name, you may be listed as a contributor on this page.
Websites opened in your browser are operated under their own privacy policies.
5. Sharing and sale of data
Because we do not collect personal information, we do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties.
6. Children's privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country).
7. Security
Data the App stores is kept in its private app storage, which other apps cannot access under Android's security model.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date.
